The training also includes tours of local businesses where participants are given the opportunity to see what specific work environments are like first-hand. They meet hiring managers, can ask questions and, after graduation, are given preferential consideration for interviews from JOBPro employer-partners.
All JOBPro participants are required to take a drug test at the time of their enrollment. Individuals who test positive for illegal drug use will be allowed to remain in the program, but must take and pass a second drug test within six weeks of the original screening. A second positive result will result in the participant’s removal from the program.
In addition to academic requirements participants will be expected to meet or exceed certain standards in the areas of “Attendance/Punctuality” and “Interest/Participation”.
